Woven Fishtail Headband

Lengthy locks give the classic vibes when left undone, but sometimes you want to add personal touch to stand out of crowd of other long hair beauties. Woven fishtail headband is a great addition to the long hair that’s otherwise untouched.

You’ll Need: Brush, rat-tail comb, spray bottle, hair elastics, hairspray {if desired}.

Time Taken: 10-12 mins

Skill Level: Medium

Hair Length: Medium to Long hair

Steps of Instructions:

  1. Begin by brushing your hair away from the face, grab the section of hair behind the ears and divide the hair into 2 sections. (I have clip in the hair extensions for volume)
  2. Take a tiny piece of hair from the left side and cross it under that strand (now you have one tiny strand of hair in between 2 large strands). Then take a tiny piece of hair from right side strand and cross it over that strand and under tiny strand, then add that tiny piece from left side strand to right side strand. (The First stitch of the braid is complete).
  3. Take a new tiny piece of hair from left side strand and cross it over that strand and under the tiny strand of hair, add that tiny piece from right side strand to left side strand. (The key to this braid is that only at the first stitch tiny strand is crossed under and for the rest stitches it’s crossed over that strand).
  4. Repeat the steps 2-3 until your run out of hair and secure the braid with an elastic.
  5. Now cross the braid over the head horizontally to the other side of ear and secure the braid with bobby pin.

Happy Braiding..
