Waterfall with bubble fishtail

Waterfall braids are a gorgeous way to wear a braid because most of the hair is still down. I did bubble fishtail with ponytail hair. I think this combination looks cute together. I hope you love it and try it out.

You’ll Need: Brush, rat-tail comb, spray bottle, hair elastics, bobby pins, curling iron, hairspray {if desired}.

Time Taken: 5-7 mins

Skill Level: Medium

Hair Length: Any hair length

Steps of Instructions:

  1. Begin with side parting the hair or center parting as desired, grab a section of hair beside parting and divide it into 3 equal parts.
  2. Take left strand over the middle strand, then right strand over the middle strand and clip aside the left strand(which was stitched The First).
  3. Now add new hair to left strand and cross it over the middle strand, then add new hair from the right side (not added with dropped strand bcoz it’s already kept aside) and cross it over the middle strand. Left strand is again dropped clipped aside.
  4. Repeat the steps 2-3 until you reach the center of the head and secure it with bobby pins. Do this on another side of parting as well and secure both the side braids with an elastic, cover the elastic by taking tiny piece of hair and wrapping it around.
  5. Now begin with regular fishtail braid, after taking 7-8 stitches secure the braid with elastic and again wrap the tiny piece of hair around elastic.
  6. Curl the dropped strands which are clipped aside.

Keep Braiding!
