twisted waterfall with fishtail

It’s been a while I did twisted waterfall. Twisted waterfall is the easiest in waterfall. Here I did twisted waterfall at front followed by fishtail taking the waterfall pieces in each stitch. I love this braid because it hides my baby hairs.  This hairstyle can be little time consuming but I’m sure you’ll do it.

You’ll Need: Brush, rat-tail comb, spray bottle, hair elastic, hairspray {if desired}.

Time Taken: 7-9 mins

Skill Level: Medium

Hair Length: Medium to long hair

Steps of Instructions:

  1. Begin with deep side parting your hair, make two sections horizontally, front section about 2 inches.
  2. Pick a section of hair from the front section and divide it into 2 strands.
  3. Now cross first strand over the other, then pick new strand from front and pass in between those strands. (The new strand is the waterfall piece which is dropped with every stitch).
  4. Again twist the two strands by crossing the upper one over the other.
  5. Once again pick new strand from front and pass in between those strands.
  6. Twist the two strands by crossing the upper one over the other.
  7. Repeat the above steps till you reach ear.
  8. Now make a few twists and secure the braid with elastic.
  9. At this time, grab the hair from other section and divide it into 2 strands.
  10. Begin with fishtail by incorporating the waterfall pieces with the each stitch.
  11. Continue to braid till all waterfall pieces are incorporated, after that begin with regular fishtail braid till the end of hair.
  12. Secure the braid with elastic.

Happy Braiding.
