Side Dutch Braid WIth Stacked fishtail

Hello. Today’s braid is the combination of Dutch braid and fishtails. Both of them are stacked together. I have pancaked both the braids to make it look bigger. You can wear this hairstyle for holidays, marriage occasions, and festivals. If this combination is done vice versa, it won’t disappoint you.

You’ll Need: Brush, rat-tail comb, spray bottle, bobby pins, hair elastic, hairspray {if desired}.

Time Taken: 10-12 mins

Skill Level: Medium

Hair Length: Medium to long hair

Steps of Instructions:

  1. Begin with side parting, now grab the piece of hair from heavier section and divide them into 3 equal parts.
  2. Take the left side strand under the middle strand & right side strand under the middle strand.
  3. Keep adding the new hair to both side strands & cross it under the middle strand.
  4. Continue braiding by adding new hair this till you reach ear hair, after that carry on with regular 3 strand braid.
  5. Secure the braid with elastic.
  6. Now take the remaining hair on one side
  7. Divide the hair into 2 sections, then grab the tiny piece of hair from left section, cross it over that section & add it to right section.
  8. Again grab the tiny piece of hair from right section, cross it over that section & add it to left section.
  9. Keep repeating the above steps till you reach the end of hair.
  10. Pancake the braiding by pulling the edges gently.
  11. Now place the dutch braid on to the fishtail, secure both the braids together with bobby pins from between.
  12. Secure both the braid with elastic.

Happy braiding..
