Pinned Wheel Updo

I still remember that this hair is given to me as challenge! Like you can see the style goes in circle which pretty much difficult to do on self. It requires lots of patience and practice. After several tries I could actually be able to do it in a proper circle. Worth the effort!

You’ll Need: Brush, rat-tail comb, spray bottle, bobby pins, hair elastic, hairspray {if desired}.

Time Taken: 10-12 mins

Skill Level: Hard

Hair Length: medium to long hair

Steps of Instructions:

  1. Starting by parting your hair deep till 3-4 inches, then continue with horizontal parting till ear and keep that section aside for a while.
  2. Grab the rest of the hair into a high ponytail.
  3. Now take the hair from the front section and divide it into half
  4. Then grab a strand of hair from ponytail parallel to those two strands.
  5. Now you have 3 strands in hands, two from front portion and one from ponytail.
  6. Take the first stitch as you do in 3 strand braid by crossing the outside strands over the middle one.
  7. Now grab new hair from front section and cross it over middle strand, then grab a strand from ponytail and cross it over middle strand.
  8. Continue adding the hair front and from ponytail this till you ears.
  9. After that continue braiding as you do in lace braid by adding the hair to the inside edge from the ponytail.
  10. The braiding must go in a circular pattern.
  11. Keep braiding till you reach other side of parting making a circular lace braid.
  12. Braiding regular 3 strand braid till the end of hair, then hide it under the circle and pin it in place.

Happy braiding..
