French loop braid half up

Hello! As you’ll know I did the French loop braid before, so now I had decided to do French loop half up hairstyle!Though both the styles would almost consume the same time! It depends on the personal choice as to which style to choose! This braid goes pretty much the same way but after taking about 3-4 stitches by adding new hair then continuing with simple French loop braid.

You can also curl the remaining hair but I choose to kept it straight otherwise the impact of the braid would lessen.

You’ll Need: Brush, rat-tail comb, spray bottle, hair elastics, hairspray {if desired}.

Time Taken: 12-15 mins

Skill Level: Hard

Hair Length: Any hair length

Steps of Instructions:

  1. Brush your hair away from the face, grab the section of hair from the crown area.
  2. Divide the section into 3 equal strands, place the left strand over the middle one and then right strand over the middle one.
  3. Now take out a tiny piece of hair from left side and keep it aside, add new strand of hair from left side and cross it over middle strand.
  4. Then take out a tiny piece of hair from right side and keep it aside, add new strand of hair from right side and cross it over middle strand.
  5. Again take out a tiny piece of hair from left side, this time reach underneath and grab the first tiny piece which is keep it aside, add new strand of hair from left side and cross it over middle strand along with the first tiny piece of hair.
  6. Do the exact same thing on the right side as well. (Loosen the tiny strands to make the loop visible).
  7. Continue doing this until 3-4 stitches, now begin to braid without adding new hair.
  8. Keep taking the tiny strands while braiding, continue till the end of hair and secure the braid with elastic.

Happy braiding.
