Braided Updo for Short hair

Hey, Guys! So today is fishtail in the box. It’s been while I did a fishtail updo. I did this on my client for a wedding function. She had very scanty hair so styling becomes little difficult. So what would be better than fishtail updo.!!

You’ll Need: Brush, rat-tail comb, spray bottle, bobby pins, hairspray {if desired}.

Time Taken: 10-12 mins

Skill Level: Medium

Hair Length: Any hair Length

Steps of Instructions:

  1. Begin with side parting the hair, grab a section of hair diagonally from the heavier section beside the parting.
  2. Now split the hair into 2 parts, take a tiny piece of hair from left & cross it over that piece and add it to right strand.
  3. Again, take a tiny piece of hair from right & cross it over that piece and add it to left strand.
  4. Repeat the steps 2-3 till you reach above the ears, then continue to braid without adding new hair.
  5. Do the same thing by taking the lighter section & repeat the steps 2-4.
  6. Now braid regular 3 strand braid with the remaining hair at the back of the head.
  7. Wrap the braid making the bun and pin it in place, then take the fishtail from both the sides and wrap it around the bun & pin it in place.

You are done…..
