Double Waterfall Half Up

Double waterfall Half Up is something new I have tried.  This style looks like a weave, that’s the thing I like about this style. Well! This hairstyle is difficult to do on self. Firstly, to achieve this hairstyle you should have hands on the waterfall braid. The key to this hairstyle is that you want to begin from crown area horizontally, dropping waterfall pieces from backforth. You’ll Need: Brush, rat-tail comb, spray bottle, hair elastics, bobby pins, hairspray {if desired}. Time Taken: 13-15 mins Skill Level: Hard Hair Length: Any hair length Steps of Instructions: Begin with deep side parting the hair, divide the hair into 2 sections of 3 inches each horizontally.  Grab a section of hair from backside section beside parting and divide it into 3 equal parts. Take left strand over the middle strand, then right strand over the middle strand and clip aside the left strand(which was stitched first). Now add new hair to left strand and cross it over middle strand, then add new hair from right side (not added with strand b’coz its already kept aside) and cross it over middle strand. Left strand is again clipped aside. Repeat the steps 3-4 until you reach till ear and secure it with bobby pins. Now grab a section of hair from front section besides parting and […]

Triple French Double Waterfall Braided Bun

Well! Waterfall braid hairstyle looks so intricate and tricky, yet beautiful. I must say that it’s an advance version of braiding.  The tricky part for this hairstyle is picking the right strand of waterfall pieces while taking the stitch. Here I started braiding from center by grabing the hair from eyebrows to eyebrows. This one is similar to the criss cross waterfall braid I did. http://tanvivayla.com/portfolio/criss-cross-waterfall-braid-2 Then take the hair from temple on both sides and incorporate the waterfall pieces. After you are done, grab all the hair into a high bun. Also check out the double waterfall braid I did a while ago.  http://tanvivayla.com/portfolio/double-waterfall You’ll Need: Brush, rat-tail comb, spray bottle, hair elastics, bobby pins, hairspray {if desired}. Time Taken: 12-15 mins Skill Level: Hard Hair Length: Any hair length Happy Braiding!!

Loop Waterfall Half Up

Hello! Loop waterfall similar like cascading loop half up style but this is done differently with each loop crossing over next to the other instead of underneath. At first it might look little complicated but it’s easier than you think. You’ll Need: Brush, rat-tail comb, elastic, bobby pins, spray bottle, hairspray {if required} Time Taken:7-8 mins Skill Level: Medium Hair Length: Medium to Long hair length Steps of Instructions: Begin by parting your hair from eyebrow to eyebrow.
