French Fishtail Updo

Updo is an answer for any bridal occasion. Today’s hairstyle is French fishtail updo which I did on my friend. As you have seen that there can be many variations possible with the French fishtail. It’s a fundamental to the braiding. Once you master this braid you can achieve so many hairstyles. You’ll Need: Brush, rat-tail comb, spray bottle, hair elastics, hairspray {if desired}. Time Taken: 10-15 mins Skill Level: Easy Hair Length: Any hair length Steps of Instructions: Begin with side parting the hair, grab the section of hair from the heavier side of parting. Divide the hair into 2 equal strands, now grab the tiny piece of hair from the outside edge from left side and cross it over that strand and add to the right strand. Again grab the tiny piece of hair from the outside edge from right side and cross it over that strand and add to the left strand. Now add the new strand of hair to the left strand, grab the tiny piece of hair from outer edge of left side and cross it over that strand and add to left strand. Hello! Today’s hairstyle is braided updo. If you have short hair, this hairstyle would be perfect for you! It’s really quick and easy style to do on yourself. This hairstyle would be perfect for occasions like marriage, reception, prom, every day. You’ll Need: Brush, rat-tail comb, spray bottle, bobby pins, hairspray {if desired}. Time Taken: 5-7 mins Skill Level: Easy Hair Length: Any hair Length Steps of Instructions: Begin by teasing the hair from the front part of the head, then smoothen it out by pinning to the back side of hair. Now take a piece of hair behind the ear from both the sides, then tie a knot with it. After that take the strand which is underneath the stitch & cross it over the loop. Repeat the steps 2-3 by adding hair. Once you reach till neck start on with regular 3 strand braid. Then wrap the braid making a bun and secure it with a bobby pin. Hairspray if needed! Trying something new every time is always a creation of new hairstyle! I decide to try my hands on with woven fishtail. This hairstyle literally amazed me since a saw it on Instagram. So I grabbed my mannequin to try it. I would not lie but this hairstyle is an arm exercise if you would do it on yourself. This updo is best for the wedding, parties, festivals, sangeet functions. Hello! Ready to rock your long tresses this wedding season! This hairstyle will be looking perfect for wedding, festivals or photoshoots. For more fancy occasions, do try this updo with twist & swirl. While the chaos can look cute in some of the hairstyles, this involves a little strategy. Straight hair would be preferable for this updo. You wanna section off your hair with side parting you hair deep about 2-3 inches and keep it out of way for a while. Now start making twist by picking the hair from sides of ear, continue doing this on both the sides till all the hair is incorporated. Bun with pinned curls

Hello! It’s almost diwali and I’m looking for the hairstyle for the new year. After looking for many updo, I have finally decided to do updo with pinned curls. It’s very traditional & romantic in look. You can wear this hairstyle with salwar suits, sarees, lehengas. It’s perfect for marriage, sangeet, reception function. You’ll Need: Brush, elastic, rat-tail comb, bobby pins, spray bottle, hairspray {if required} Time Taken:4-5 mins Skill Level: Easy Hair Length: Any hair Length. (Not too short) Steps of Instructions: Begin by taking the section from eyebrow to eyebrow & start teasing the hair to make a puff. Then smoothen it out & pin it in place at the back of head. Now take the section of hair from the back of head & make a medium height ponytail, leaving the hair above the ear aside. Then gently make a hole at the center of ponytail & start tugging the hair in middle as if you are filling the pockets.. Thus making a bun.! Brush the hair giving the finish look to the bun.
