5 strand crown

Hello! Today’s braid is a 5 strand crown braid. This is complex kind of braid. Any braid with 4 or more than 4 strand is intricate. I have tried this braid on a mannequin as I could not do it on myself. After several tries, I could actually be able to do on mannequin also. The only reason 5 strand braid is complex is the trouble to hold 5 strands together in hands. The confusion to place the strands into right place would make it more complex! But once the concept is clear in your mind you can easily braid it. As you’ll know I have already done 5 strand dutch braid, so this time I thought to do 5 strand braided crown! You’ll Need: Brush, rat-tail comb, spray bottle, hair elastics, bobby pins, hairspray {if desired}. Time Taken: 15-20 mins Skill Level: Hard Hair Length: Any hair length Steps of Instructions: Begin by side parting the hair, now pick a section of hair and divide it into 3 equal strands. Updo for medium hair

Hello! Today’s updo for medium is one of my favorite. Wear it on any wedding occasion with saree, lehengas or salwar suits. This updo is best for the people with scanty hair. My mannequin hair is also scanty and medium length. However this style gives the voluminous look. I have started with puffing the hair from crown area and pinning in place. Then starting from ear I began with lace braid by adding the hair from bottom of head. I did the same thing on the other side as well. Next continue to add hair till you reach center point. At this time you need to take braid both the braids and tuck it criss cross underneath the lace braid. Secure the lace braid with elastic. Add hair accessory if needed. You’ll Need: Brush, rat-tail comb, spray bottle, hair elastic, bobby pins, hairspray {if desired}. Time Taken: 7-9 mins Skill Level: Medium Hair Length: Medium to long hair
