Side Fishtail Braid

Side Fishtail braid is done by taking  the strands over each other. Like French braid with 3 strands, french fishtail braid is done same way. You need to take tiny pieces of hair while braiding. I did this hairstyle while on holiday. You’ll be surprise to know that I did this hairstyle in car. We were getting late  to reach at destination so I did it while on drive. Yeah, I know it sounds crazy! You’ll Need: Brush, rat-tail comb, spray bottle, hair elastic, hairspray {if desired}. Time Taken: 10-12 mins Skill Level: Medium Hair Length: Medium to long hair Steps of Instructions: Begin with side parting, now grab the piece of hair from heavier section and divide them into 2 equal parts. Braid COmbo: Fishtail+3 Strand braid

Hello! Today’s Braid is combination braid. Two 3 strand braid on sides and fishtail in the center. All these braids are pinned together to make it look as a single braid. Everyone loved this hairstyle, asked if I have attached any hair extension to it. Actually, these 3 braids give the voluminous look. You can wear this hairstyle with Anarkali, sarees, lehengas, dress. It’s perfect for occasions like marriage , reception, sangeet, baby shower, parties. You’ll Need: Brush, rat-tail comb, spray bottle, bobby pins, elastic, hairspray {if desired}. Fishtail DOnut Bun

Today I’m going to show you lace fishtail bun. This hairstyle looks too cute. If you can do fishtail then you can pretty much try this bun too! I must say that doing this hairstyle on self is surely an arm exercise. This hairstyle is perfect for work, prom, every day. You’ll Need: Brush, rat-tail comb, bun maker/ donut, elastic, bobby pins, spray bottle, hairspray {if required} Time Taken:7-8 mins Skill Level: Hard Hair Length: Medium to Long hair length Steps of Instructions: Create a French fishtail braid on top of head ending at crown. Tie the remaining hair into a high ponytail. Section off the piece of hair from the ponytail and slide the bun maker on the large section of ponytail. Evenly spread the hair of ponytail on to the bun. Pick a section of hair that is kept aside & grab a strand from top of the bun. These will be the beginning section for braiding. Fishtail Braid into high ponytail

This hairstyle is inspired by cute girl’s hairstyles. I did little variation with this hairstyle! She did this hairstyle with 3 strand regular braid & I did with fishtail. This hairstyle would look good on any hair texture! This look gives cute boho look, probably would be perfect for any vacation, date, birthdays. You’ll Need: Brush, rat-tail comb, spray bottle, bobby pins, hair elastics, hairspray {if desired}. Time Taken: 5-7 mins Skill Level: Medium Hair Length: Medium to long hair Steps of Instructions: Begin by parting the hair from eyebrow to ear back till 4-5 inches, secure the remaining hair with clip to keep it out of way. Now take a section of hair & begin with dutch fishtail braid. Continue adding new hair as you move back. Continue to braid until you reach behind the ears. Time Taken: 8-10 mins Skill Level: Medium Hair Length: Medium to long hair Steps of Instructions: Start by tie your entire hair into a high ponytail. Divide the hair into 2 big sections; now take one section & start braiding fishtail till the end of hair. Do the exact same thing with the other section of hair as well. Now take one braid & wrap it around the base of ponytail, secure the braid with bobby pins. Take another fishtail braid & wrap it around the first one, secure it with bobby pins. Checkboard Braid

Hello! Do you like braiding hairstyle with ribbon?? I think it is always a good idea to incorporate accessories while braiding, which add more accent to the hairstyle. So here is a checkboard braid with ribbon. There is actually 5 strand involved in this braid, including 2 strand with ribbon. Once you reach till neck I did 4 strand braid with the rest of the hair. You’ll Need: Brush, rat-tail comb, elastic, bobby pins, spray bottle, hairspray {if required} Time Taken:15 mins Skill Level: Hard Hair Length: Medium to long hair. Steps of Instructions: Grab a section of hair about 2-3 inches from center of head, now tie the ribbon close to that section. (If you are using two-color ribbon, tie the ends closed to that section. Circular Fishtail

Today is an exclusive ponytail hairstyle. I’m calling it a circular fishtail ponytail. This is a high braided ponytail. As the name suggests the braid actually goes in a circular pattern. The ponytail is twisted after taking few stitches. You’ll Need: Brush, rat-tail comb, elastic, spray bottle, hairspray {if required} Time Taken:5-7 mins Skill Level: Medium Hair Length: Medium to long hair. Steps of Instructions: Start of by grabbing all the hair into high ponytail with elastic. Now divide the ponytail hair into 2 large sections Take a tiny piece of hair from left section, cross it over that section & add it to the right section. Then take a piece of hair from right section, cross it over that section & add it to the left section ( The first stitch of the fishtail is complete now). Repeat the steps 3-4 until 5 stitches. At this point, rotate the sections to clockwise direction (right section comes to left side & vice versa). Again start braiding by repeating the steps 3-4 till 5-6 stitches. Bubble Fishtail with no band

The unique thing about the braid is that there aren’t any rubber bands to form a bubble. It looks like a natural form which keeps people wondering how to do it.! You’ll Need: Brush, elastic, rat-tail comb, spray bottle, hairspray {if required} Time Taken: 7-8 mins Skill Level: Medium Hair Length: Medium to Long hair Steps of Instructions: Start by sectioning the hair just 1 inch above the ears, gathering at the back of head with your hand. Now begin a regular fishtail by taking a tiny piece from the outer edge, cross it over the top & add it to the other side. Then take a strand from the opposite from the outside edge, cross it over the top & add to the other side. Repeat this over & over…. After you have braided about 4 inches, go back & pancake about 3-4 inches of the fishtail. Now continue with regular fishtail again for about 4 inches or so.. Repeat the steps 4-5 until you run out of hair. Secure the braid with elastic. Then go back to the braid to make it look perfect, giving lots of volume. Happy Braiding..
