twisted waterfall with fishtail

It’s been a while I did twisted waterfall. Twisted waterfall is the easiest in waterfall. Here I did twisted waterfall at front followed by fishtail taking the waterfall pieces in each stitch. I love this braid because it hides my baby hairs.  This hairstyle can be little time consuming but I’m sure you’ll do it. You’ll Need: Brush, rat-tail comb, spray bottle, hair elastic, hairspray {if desired}. Time Taken: 7-9 mins Skill Level: Medium Hair Length: Medium to long hair Steps of Instructions: Begin with deep side parting your hair, make two sections horizontally, front section about 2 inches. Pick a section of hair from the front section and divide it into 2 strands. Now cross first strand over the other, then pick new strand from front and pass in between those strands. (The new strand is the waterfall piece which is dropped with every stitch). Again twist the two strands by crossing the upper one over the other. Once again pick new strand from front and pass in between those strands. Twist the two strands by crossing the upper one over the other. Repeat the above steps till you reach ear. Now make a few twists and secure the braid with elastic. At […]

loop with side fishtail

Hello! Any combination with fishtail doesn’t ever fail. Like this one with a loop on the back of head looks beautiful. I did this hairstyle on Rakhi festival. Braids look so good on traditional dresses. I have pancaked the fishtail to make it look dreamy. You’ll Need: Brush, rat-tail comb, spray bottle, hair elastics, bobby pins, hairspray {if desired}. Time Taken: 8-10 mins Skill Level: Hard Hair Length: Medium to long hair Steps of Instructions: Begin by side parting the hair, now pick a section of hair from lighter section about 2-3 inches deep and divide it into 2 sections. Now take the second section next to parting over the previous section, makes a loop and pull the section through that loop and merge them. Every time when you merge the sections make sure the section used to make loop is above the other one. (This is the key to this hairstyle). Again grab a new section of hair, place it over the merged section, make a loop and pull the section through that loop and merge them. Continue to braid by repeating the steps 2-3 such that the braid goes in a circular pattern. As you continue to braid always grab the hair […]

scissor waterfall with fishtail

Hello! Scissor waterfall with fishtail is little intricate one. The braid goes around the temple vertically on both the sides till the nape of neck, while braiding fishtail at the center with the waterfall pieces from both the sides. Trust while braiding this style I literally got lost and confused about the stitch. Taking the stitch is a tedious one. You’ll Need: Brush, rat-tail comb, ribbon, spray bottle, bobby pins, hair elastic, hairspray {if desired}. Time Taken: 10-12 mins Skill Level: Hard Hair Length: Any hair length Steps of Instructions: Begin by grabbing the hair from temple area on left side and divide it into 4 strands. Now take the outermost strand over the inner strand and gather it. Then take a tiny strand of hair from front and pass it in between those strands. Again take the upper two strands (outermost strands) over the two bottom strands and combine it, gradually pull the bottom on the top. Furthermore take the new strand of hair beside the previous one and pass it in between those strands. Repeat step 4 again. Continue till you reach nape of neck and secure the braid with elastic. Begin by grabbing the hair from temple area on right side […]
